Steal a makeup artists secrets

One of the questions I get asked the most is, "How do I cover my dark circles?"  Here is my secret sauce:

 First of all apply foundation.

Next you'll want to use my secret weapon product: Benefit cosmetics Erase Paste (it has a slightly orange tint to color correct dark under eye area). Apply it with a concealer brush underneath your eye where there is darkness or shadowing.

After you've covered the dark circles it's time to brighten. Use a concealer a shade two lighter than your skin tone to highlight the under eye area, but be careful, if you put a lighter color on before you actually cover the dark circles you will actually accentuate the darkness. So don't skip the first step! I like to do an upside down triangle for this area. Blend out with a concealer brush or a damp Beautyblender.

Lastly to make sure everything stays in place, set it with a translucent setting powder.
